Who we are
FuelLab is operated by Raw Exposure, an Australian business with a registered ABN. Raw Exposure is the controller of the personal information described here and is responsible for handling it under the Australian Privacy Principles and, where they apply, other privacy laws such as the GDPR.
What we collect and why
- Account details (email address, sign-in credentials, or your Google/Lovable identity) — to create and secure your account. Basis: contract.
- Athlete profile (name, body weight, dietary preferences, sweat rate, training goals) — to personalise your nutrition plans. Basis: contract and your consent.
- Activity data you upload (distance, elevation, heart rate, speed, power, timing, and GPS data contained in the file) — to analyse sessions and build history. Basis: contract and your consent.
- Subscription status (plan, trial and renewal dates) — to give you the right features. Basis: contract.
- Technical data (IP address, device and browser information, logs) — for security, fraud prevention and fixing problems. Basis: legitimate interests.
- Support messages — to help you. Basis: legitimate interests.
Heart rate and body weight can be sensitive. We only use them to produce your recommendations and never sell them.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that host and run FuelLab (cloud hosting, database and authentication).
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for selling the product, managing subscriptions, payments, tax compliance and invoicing. Paddle collects payment details directly under its own privacy policy.
- Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, where needed.
- Authorities where required by law.
Some providers may process data outside Australia (and outside the UK/EEA). Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, or it's no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period, except where we must keep records by law.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. We aim to respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we handle your information you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) or your local data protection authority.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls so each account can only see its own data.
Cookies and local storage
FuelLab only uses essential browser storage to keep you signed in and the app working. We don't use advertising cookies. You can clear this storage in your browser settings, though you'll be signed out.
Changes
We may update this notice and will change the date above when we do.
